A stunning post Jeni. The videos you included knocked me out, especially the chorus in the trees. I'm sitting in my living room watching the firs, pines and cedars swaying to the gusts of wind coming through the Salish Sea this morning. I'm passionate about these beauties. I make a point of telling the madronas their red curling bark and bright, glossy green leaves light my vision every time my gaze rests on them. Your prose moved me. I could feel your passion for life streaming through each line, just as a banyan reaches out in all directions to gather the sun above and the roots below. Exquisite! Love and light sent your way. 🌳💚🌲💚🌴💚🏕️🌞
Celestial choirs and glorious pines--evocative imagery as the dawn begins to shape the world around me. I will hope for a good outcome with Pine. (I was going to say, I will root for Pine).
Keep singing! Keep writing! Your voice and your pen are our underground fungi network. Your voice and your pen are our overhead forest canopy. In those spaces we can find ourselves between the notes of the roots. Between the words of the trees. We find hope here. Thank you Jeni. You help us believe. 🙏❤️

Thank you, Rebecca! Yes, I felt this piece deeply. xox
💚💚💚 🌳🌲🌲 Sending Reiki blessings to Pine and to you, Jeni
Your post so moved me, my friend — celestial song, trees, love and connection.
A believer in Shinrin-yoku for years.
PS I was passing through today to respond to a notification and the trail led me to you.
Hello, pockett! I’m so glad you were led here. Yay, Divine Gaia!

:) You go right ahead, Ken, and root for Pine. Thx for reading and commenting. xox
I love and need trees too. They provide me with a sort of spiritual moisture that feeds my soul.
Yes, they are wondrous! Have you read Hermann Hesse's piece on trees?

Deeply honest and moving. Thank you. I talk to trees, they listen and hear me.
I so agree! Fun seeing you here. 🩵
Jenine, I cracked up reading this part!
“I was a tree kisser, too. Nothing creepy or psychotic.” 🤣
My backyard is full of trees. That’s where I like to hide from humanity.
You're so lucky to have a 'forest' so close by. I am an INFJ (Myers Briggs) - bona fide introvert, so I hide too.
